Our team at Holbrook Law embodies a strategic, dedicated, approachable, practical, and knowledgeable ethos, ensuring that each member brings comprehensive legal expertise and personalised guidance to every client we serve.
I have practiced law in New Zealand since 1997 and specialise in all areas of Family Law. I regularly appear in the Family Court and have appeared in the High Court on various matters.
I completed a course named Collaborative Practice held by the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. Collaborative law uses a different approach to resolving disputes without involving litigation; the focus is on the parties being able to reach an agreeable solution to their particular issues. One of the many positive aspects of Collaborative Law is the parties make their own decisions rather than having a Judge make a decision, which either one or both parties disagree with.
I have practised in the Family Law area since 2014. I specialise in all areas of Family Law particularly the care and contact of children, guardianship disputes, domestic violence, Oranga Tamariki matters and relationship property.
I am an assigned Legal Aid Provider and am happy to discuss with you whether you might be eligible for Legal Aid.
I am also on the Lawyer for Child list and receive appointments from the Ministry of Justice to represent children in Family Court proceedings.
I gained my Legal Executive Diploma with the New Zealand Law Society in 2012. I have 4 ½ years experience working as a Legal Secretary in a mid-sized firm prior to joining Holbrook Law.
My practice areas include Residential Sale & Purchase, Refinancing, Wills, Estates, Trusts and Enduring Powers of Attorney.
I am in the final year of my Bachelor of Laws with AUT which I have been completing part time since 2017 while working full time in the legal sector and starting my little family.
I have 8+ years experience working as a Legal Secretary, Legal Assistant and Law Clerk in small firms prior to joining Holbrook Law in 2024.
I have experience in Conveyancing (including Residential Sale & Purchase and Refinancing matters), Estate Planning (including Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney), Estate Administration, Trusts and Commercial Leasing and I am looking forward to gaining experience in Relationship Property and Family Law.
I returned to live in New Zealand in late 2016, having lived in Australia with my family for 5 years prior. Since being back in New Zealand, I joined the team at Holbrook Law as receptionist/secretary.
I have over 10 years experience working in reception and support roles.
I am a mum of three girls and enjoy spending time with my family watching movies and exploring the outdoors.
